This blog has been so much fun so far. Thank you all for your support.
A mom from the babycenter birth club reminded me of this item. An innovative mom created the Dapper Snapper. Probably a mom who was tired of her child’s pants being too big all the time. Some pants come with built in “sizers” and for new or to-be moms/grandparents, this is a good tip for you becuase my son was 6 months before I realized it. If the pants have built in sizers – you will look inside the pants on each side there will be an elastic band with a button and you can pull that elastic band tighter and use a different button hole to make the pants tighter and then you can loosten it when it is time.
The Dapper Snapper accomplishes that same thing for pants that don’t have the sizer built in. It is elastic, it comes in a variety of colors, it is a snap (versus a button) which makes it easy to use, and it is reasonably priced – I’ve seen them anywhere from $8-$12. I believe this is a must have item. Clothes do not fit according to age and your child will be out of 9 month clothes before they are ready for 12 month clothes and any tool that can help bridge the gap is a life saver.
